I enjoyed Phillip Monks coming in. He taught us loads. I wonder if he will write another play. If so I’ll probably go and see it. ๐ Mabye he will even come into secondry school.
The Night Queen was amazing especially the dragon bit and how they made it.The interveiw at the end was great too because we found out how they made they whole play its self.
I really enjoyed watching the night queen! It was great ! I also enjoyed Phillip coming in and teaching us about play writing. The groups work who done arts award was brilliant! Thanks Phillip and Antonia! ๐
The Night Queen is a wonderful drama about: A girl made a promise to ‘The Night Queen’ (her mother) to get a speical orb; Pimina got the orb and the Night Queen couldn’t get the power from the orb. But only Pimina could have the power because she did the task.
The Night Queen is a brilliant play !
Here is a poem that we wrote in pairs with Philip Monks
Tree, Tree what can you see ?
I can see busy bees buzzing high and low
I can see drongos hunting but their very slow
Tree, Tree what can you hear ?
I can hear a chimpanzee searching for honey
but when they can’t find it their no a happy bunny!
Tree, tree what else can you see ?
I can also see lots of other trees
swaying, swiftly in the lovely breeze
Philip Monks was an awesome teacher! He has influenced everyone with his knowledge. We all wrote awesome poems about a tree. It was based on what it could see, hear and feel. ^_^
The play was AMAZING!!!!!! I really enjoyed having Philip Monks come in. We learnt a whole load of new skills like writing scripts:D And of course writing a poem !
This is my poem…
Tree, tree what can you see?
I can see grey wolves desperatly hunting for prey.
I can see bright moonlight creating dark and spooky shadows, that lurk in the night.
Tree, tree what can you hear?
I can hear crackling from the dark damaged leaves that lie below.
I can hear the crackling fire from the woodmans cosy cottage.
Tree, tree what can you feel?
I can feel creepy insects crawling slowly and biting my bruised brown bark.
We will never forget Phillip Monks. He was always full of excitment and enthusiamsm. He instantly lit up the classroom’s environment! HOPE YOUR NEEXT PLAY IS GOING WELL PHILLIP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ๐ ๐
